Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with a focus on tire service and vehicle maintenance. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential vehicle care and customer service. The Tire Technician will be responsible for performing tire replacements, rotations, alignments, and other mechanical services to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.

Duties

  • Install, repair, and replace tires using hand tools and power tools with precision and safety.
  • Perform wheel alignments to ensure proper vehicle handling and tire longevity.
  • Conduct oil changes, brake inspections, and other routine maintenance services.
  • Diagnose automotive issues using mechanical knowledge and automotive diagnostics tools.
  • Assist customers by explaining services, recommending solutions, and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to adhere to safety standards.
  • Use mechanical expertise to troubleshoot vehicle problems and perform necessary repairs.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment to identify issues related to vehicle performance.
  • Manage heavy lifting of tires and vehicle parts safely during service procedures.

Experience

  • Dealership experience or automotive repair background is highly preferred.
  • Prior mechanic or automotive service technician experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, mechanical tools, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
  • Experience with oil changes, wheel alignments, tire servicing, and general vehicle repairs.
  • Customer service experience is beneficial for engaging effectively with clients.
  • Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safety protocols in an automotive environment is essential. This position requires a dedicated individual with strong mechanical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to providing top-quality automotive care. Candidates should be eager to learn new techniques and contribute positively to our team's success.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $36.75 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
