What you will do:
- Maintain parking lot electrical systems and monitor their condition.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on building structures, including wood components, using appropriate carpentry tools.
- Seal cracks, paint building elements, and complete general building repairs as needed.
- Monitor and support the operation of HVAC equipment.
- Conduct routine run tests of facility backup power systems and fire pumps.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of fire protection systems and gas-operated heating systems.
- Perform repairs on facility machinery and equipment, including wrappers, high-speed doors, and other powered devices.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-organized building environment.
What you'll need
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs safely.
- Minimum of 2 years of building maintenance experience.
- Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools, and willingness to learn the operation of building systems.
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to new tasks as they arise.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to complete documentation clearly and accurately.
