Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.

Duties

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Assemble components and systems according to specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs needed and completed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or repair shop setting is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Familiarity with automotive schematics and the ability to read technical manuals.
  • Experience with welding is a plus but not required.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
