Vansittart Dental is looking for a certified dental assistant (Level II) to join our fast growing team and practice We are looking for a motivated individual that is looking to grow with the practice and step into a lead role with our office

We are looking for a friendly, professional, self-motivated individual, who is committed to providing excellent patient care.

The ideal candidate should have experience in chair side assisting (all aspects of general dentistry), and have excellent communication, time management, and collaborative skills.

We are a family focused dental practice that is rapidly growing. We offer full scope general dentistry and some in -house dental specialty services. We are very excited to be able to welcome a new member to the team

Must be familiar with the following:

  • Taking digital radiographs with appropriate quality assurance HARP
  • Sterilization with knowledge of up to date Infection Control Protocols (IPAC)
  • Taking impressions, pouring models when needed
  • Assisting all aspects of general dentistry procedures: restorative including crown/bridge, surgery including dental implant placement, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, etc.

Experience:

  • Dental assisting: 1 year (required)
  • Experience with ordering and inventory management- considered an asset
  • Familiarity with front desk duties such as booking patients and answering phones- considered an asset

License/Certification:

  • Dental Assistant Certificate (required)
  • CPR/BLS
  • HARP Certified
  • WHIMS
  • Worker Health & Safety Certificate
