Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant & Bar Manager to oversee daily operations of our bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food and beverage industry, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. Previous experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or hotel settings is highly valued, along with familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and POS systems such as Micros POS.

Duties

  • Supervise and manage bar staff, including interviewing and training new team members
  • Oversee food and beverage service to ensure high-quality customer experiences
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Micros POS
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors as needed
  • Monitor cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with health regulations
  • Lead team management efforts to foster a positive work environment and motivate staff
  • Assist in food preparation and cooking when necessary to support kitchen operations
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Implement promotional activities and special events to increase patron engagement

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience in restaurant or hospitality management
  • Strong background in food service, food handling, and food safety protocols
  • Familiarity with restaurant management systems, especially Square POS or similar platforms
  • Experience in the food industry, including kitchen or bar experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
  • Background in hotel or hospitality settings is advantageous
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving standards
  • Previous experience with restaurant management or supervisory roles within the hospitality sector

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
