Overview

We are seeking a Property Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in housekeeping, with the ability to work as part of a team. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, ensuring that all buildings are kept tidy. The Property Cleaner will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

  • Ensure safety, complying with the Health and Safety requirements of EMF Maritimes Pool II LP;
  • Dust and sanitize furniture, equipment and common areas of the property;
  • Empty waste containers and remove trash from common areas;
  • Clean and polish furniture;
  • Vacuum and shampoo carpets;
  • Mop and polish floors;
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings;
  • Moving equipment, materials and supplies;
  • Snow removal and ice control from all entrances/exits and walkways as required;
  • Delivery of notices to building residents and posting of notices in common areas when applicable;
  • Conduct building inspections
  • Maintain cleaning tools and equipment;
  • Work as a part of an on-call rotation team responding to work orders and emergencies (defined by EMF Maritimes Pool II LP after hour emergency protocol);
  • Assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs; and
  • Resident services and assistance as required and maintaining good resident relations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a minimum of three years experience.
  • Able to lift fifty (50) lbs., work with and climb stairs with equipment and supplies;
  • If using company vehicle, annual provision of proof of a valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract or use of personal vehicle required.
  • Must have own vehicle to travel between job locations within the Gander area.
  • Able to provide a clean vulnerable sector records check.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 21 weeks

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
