Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to provide Emergency and commprehensive care for patients ON A PART TIME, AS NEEDED BASIS in our practice IN EDMONTON, NW. Specifically, we prefer a dentist that resides in the area competent in molar root canals, surgical extractions.

  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
  • Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and bridges.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote overall health.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
  • Manage pediatric patients with care and patience, ensuring a positive experience for children in the practice.

Experience

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Previous experience working in a dental office is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is advantageous.
  • Experience in pediatrics is a plus, as we cater to a diverse patient demographic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff alike.
