Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Window Covering and AV Installer for a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area. The responsibilities include installing manual and motorized window coverings, drapery hardware, and home automation systems such as lighting, alarm, shading, and multimedia integration. The installer will collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure installations meet quality standards and client needs. Additional duties involve maintaining tools and equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing excellent customer service by addressing client queries and concerns.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the installation of manual and motorized window coverings, drapery, and associated hardware
  • Proficiency in home automation systems, including Control4, Somfy, lighting, and multimedia integration
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment functionality issues
  • Physical capability to work with tools, climb ladders, and lift heavy objects as required during installations
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality results
  • Good communication and customer service skills for collaborating with clients and addressing concerns
  • Experience in AV systems and home theater installation is an asset
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
