Job Overview
JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Artificial Lift Field Operator at Weatherford, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate installation and maintenance of pumping units. You will work under the guidance of a supervisor, following work instructions to service oilfield equipment, including dismantling, repairing, and assembling. This role requires travel to well site locations and the ability to troubleshoot performance issues with our product line.

Requirements

  • Mechanically inclined with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and interact with customers regarding equipment servicing
  • Willingness to work on any oilfield equipment and follow set work instructions from binders and computers
  • Capability to anticipate next steps in the work process and effectively solve problems
  • Commitment to completing required safety courses designated by Weatherford
  • Valid class 5 operator's license in good standing and ability to work at heights
  • Availability to work overtime as needed

Education
High School Diploma (or Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent) preferred.

Certifications

  • Successful completion of drug and alcohol testing
  • Air Brake Endorsement (preferred)
