Responsibilities:
- Sustain FFV processes: communication, training, auditing entries, and attending monthly meetings.
- Support Operations with accurate data entry and troubleshooting FFV issues.
- Troubleshoot gas systems to debottleneck projects; participate in pipeline walkdowns and integrity reviews.
- Confirm gas system flow, metering, and perform gas mapping, sampling, and line balancing.
- Maintain and optimize area-specific equipment performance to meet production targets.
- Perform condition monitoring, sampling, and testing; complete operational records (volume balances, log sheets, permits).
- Support maintenance activities and contractors, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Provide coaching, on-the-job training, and assessments for new employees.
- Participate in developing and reviewing Safe Operating Procedures and follow chemical handling protocols.
- Engage in site Health & Safety programs, report incidents, and participate in investigations.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent (required); 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate (asset).
- 1–5 years operating oil processing equipment and associated systems.
- Equipment isolation, safe work permitting, and hazard analysis experience.
- Control room experience (1–2 years preferred).
- Oil & gas, pulp & paper, or plant process experience.
- Proficiency with PLC, DCS, or SCADA systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, Salesforce, and PVR reporting.
- Understanding of safety and regulatory standards.
- Gas Process Operations (GPO) / Production Field Operations (PFO).
- Oil & Gas Process Operations (OGPO).
- Petroleum Technologist diploma or journeyman trade certification.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract.
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
