Vice President, Corporate Finance

The Vice President, Corporate Finance is a key member of the finance team, responsible for managing corporate debt and equity compliance while driving forward-looking financial forecasting and capital planning. Bringing extensive accounting experience to the role, the VP Corporate Finance ensures the company adheres to covenant requirements associated with corporate debt financing and equity capital initiatives while providing leadership in strategic financial planning, modeling and risk assessment.

You will
- Define and drive the strategic direction of the Corporate Finance team, aligning goals with broader organizational priorities.
- Develop and maintain robust processes and tools to manage corporate capital compliance, including debt and equity.
- Provide financial guidance on existing and proposed financing arrangements, investments, dispositions, and other corporate transactions.
- Prepare and deliver Management, Discussion & Analysis and forecasted financial statements; provide leadership with insights on liquidity, covenant headroom, and capital availability.
- Support ongoing corporate capital raising activities
- Monitor and interpret debt indentures and credit agreements, ensuring covenant compliance.
- Coordinate with legal counsel, rating agencies, auditors, and lenders to support corporate finance activities.
- Act as a steward of Anthem's values, cultivating a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive team environment.

You have
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline
- CPA strongly preferred; CFA or MBA would be an asset
- 8-12 years of progressive finance experience, ideally with experience in real estate
- Deep expertise in real estate accounting and finance, financial forecasting and working with high-yield instruments
- Experience analyzing market trends, comparable transactions, and rating agency developments relevant to high yield issuers and the real estate sector
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian GAAP (ASPE or IFRS), real estate accounting, and tax considerations to maintain financial integrity and compliance
- Experience leading the development of multi-year financial models, including financial statement forecasts, cash flow projections, capital expenditure planning, and funding scenarios in collaboration with Treasury and FP&A

Salary Range: $200, $275,000.00 based on experience.
