We are seeking a skilled Cook 1 to join our team. As a Cook 1, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and standards. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality dishes that are both visually appealing and delicious.

We are seeking a Cook 1 who can commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week and is fully available for closing shifts (until 11:00 p.m. or 12:00 a.m.). Must have reliable transportation for late-night closing shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sauces, soups, and hot entrees for service and special functions, insuring that all stations are set for forecasted covers.
  • Maintain food quality and adherence to company standards.
  • Assures that all kitchen personnel and servers are aware of specials, plate presentations, and prices.
  • Suggest daily specials that incorporate seasonal or special order ingredients.
  • Coordinate service with restaurant and banquet operations.
  • Other related tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience 2+ years preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, safety standards, and kitchen equipment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
