THE POSITION

As a vital member of our dynamic team, the UI/UX Developer will be responsible for translating user stories and requirements into compelling, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. With a focus on higher fidelity wireframes, this role requires a creative yet analytical thinker capable of crafting seamless experiences from concept to execution. The successful candidate will not only be a skilled designer but also a collaborative team player, continuously seeking to understand and deliver on customer needs with designs that encapsulate both form and function.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Incorporating industry-best design practices into your work, explaining design choices and providing rationale
• Translating user stories and requirements into detailed wireframes and mockups.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or InVision.
• Strong knowledge and experience of writing clean, maintainable, and responsive HTML and CSS to bring designs to life.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Blazor and front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of usability and accessibility principles.
• Experience with conducting user research and usability testing to refine designs.
• Maintaining personas and collaborating on a persona-driven design approach
• Technical proficiency to collaborate with developers and speak their language.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and shift priorities as needed.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate with team members.
• A degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
