Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Front End Developer to join our client's dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years experience and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging, user-friendly web interfaces that enhance user experience across various platforms. This role requires a strong foundation in web development technologies, a passion for creating innovative solutions, and the ability to collaborate effectively within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular and React.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional front-end code that offers seamless user experiences.
  • Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and web services to enable dynamic data visualization and interactive features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices in software development and SDLC processes.
  • Conduct unit testing using tools like Jasmine or Karma to ensure code quality and functionality across browsers and devices.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring compatibility across different browsers and platforms.
  • Utilize version control systems such as GitHub or SVN to manage code repositories effectively.
  • Participate in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning using tools like Jira or Trello, to facilitate continuous delivery.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment using Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Skills

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS), JavaScript (including AJAX, JSON), and TypeScript.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, data visualization techniques, and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with back-end technologies including REST APIs, SOAP web services, , Spring Framework, Django, or ASP.NET is a plus.
  • Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQLite for integrating data-driven features.
  • Experience working with containerization tools like Docker and deployment platforms such as AWS or Azure is desirable.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub or SVN.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for front-end development is advantageous.
  • Ability to work within Agile teams using project management tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Strong problem-solving skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively across teams.
