Our vision is to enable value-based healthcare and transform how care is coordinated across Canada and beyond. As a high-growth SaaS organization, we are scaling rapidly and looking for impactful leaders who are energized by complex challenges, bold ideas, and meaningful outcomes.

Role Overview

The Vice-President, Product & Technology Operations is a key member of the Product & Technology leadership team, responsible for how we get our products to market and enable our teams to execute with excellence.

This role ensures that the Product organization operates as a high-performing, data-driven function that translates vision into execution and enables consistent delivery of value to customers and partners.

Reporting directly to the Chief Product & Technology Officer, the Vice-President leads the teams overseeing Offering Management, Go-to-Market Readiness, Program Management, Product Content, and Product Compliance. Through strong cross-functional collaboration, this leader establishes the processes, governance, and insights that allow product strategy and execution to operate in perfect sync.

Key Responsibilities

Offering Management

  • Maintain offering frameworks, configuration rules, and lifecycle visibility to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Partner with Product, Finance, and Marketing to develop and evolve pricing, packaging, and monetization frameworks that align with market needs and strategic growth objectives.
  • Provide portfolio insights and reporting to support prioritization, investment planning, and roadmap alignment.

Go-to-Market Readiness

  • Lead the end-to-end internal readiness process for product launches, ensuring smooth coordination between Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Marketing.
  • Oversee release management, including the planning, communication, and tracking of product updates and new feature rollouts.
  • Develop governance standards, readiness checklists, and performance metrics to ensure launch consistency and accountability.
  • Conduct post-launch reviews to measure adoption and incorporate feedback into continuous improvement cycles.

Program Management & Execution Excellence

  • Drive operational alignment and execution across major product initiatives, ensuring goals, dependencies, and deliverables are clearly defined and tracked.
  • Establish consistent planning, reporting, and communication frameworks that improve visibility, accountability, and strategic alignment.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to align strategic roadmaps with organizational capacity and financial objectives.
  • Champion process optimization and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle to enhance efficiency and predictability.

Product Content & Knowledge Management

  • Oversee the creation and governance of internal and external product content, including technical documentation, release notes, videos, and enablement materials.
  • Ensure internal teams have access to reliable, up-to-date product information to support implementation, enablement, and support activities.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to deliver high-quality training materials and onboarding resources for internal audiences.

Product Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure Petal's products comply with all relevant privacy, data protection, accessibility, and healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Quality teams to maintain certification programs and manage regulatory audits.
  • Embed compliance considerations into product design, development, and release processes.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Product Operations, Program Management, or related leadership roles within a SaaS or technology organization.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional operational frameworks in multi-product environments.
  • Deep understanding of product monetization, lifecycle management, and release operations at scale.
  • Experience in compliance-sensitive or regulated industries (health tech, fintech, or equivalent) is an asset.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance structure, agility, and impact.
