The Vice President of Finance is primarily responsible for managing the Company's financial risks. In addition, he/she is responsible for negotiating agreements with various financial institutions to obtain financing on behalf of the Kruger Energy and Real Estate divisions. He/she also takes part in all matters related to business development for the Energy Group, ensuring that the growth strategy is implemented and moves forward quickly. Finally, he/she oversees financial planning (budgets) and the maintenance of financial records, as well as the production of accounting and financial reports.
- REPORTING RELATIONSHIP_

The Vice President, Finance, reports directly to the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Kruger Energy and Real Estate.
- RESPONSIBILITIES _
- Act as a key collaborator to the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and maintain collaborative relationships with senior management.
- Provide advice and recommendations on the financial implications of the division's activities, performance, results, and business opportunities.
- Maintain good investor relations.
- Develop strategic partnerships that can have a positive impact on the equity value and debt level.
- Ensure rigorous financial planning and propose sound initiatives to achieve strategic objectives.
- Provide leadership in the strategic planning process and act as a facilitator in day-to-day decision-making.
- Assess the Division’s financial risks and growth prospects.
- Maintain relationships with financial and credit institutions to explore financing opportunities.
- Prepare and present reports on M&A activities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Prepare and present financial reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Coordinate budget planning and report financial results to the management team.
- Work with the Vice-President, Operations, to ensure adequate support to the Operations team.
- Work with the Vice President, Development, to ensure adequate support.
- Manage all accounting, financial and M&A operations, as well as all other related activities.

QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in administration, finance, or accounting.
- Professional designation (MBA, CPA, etc.) is an asset.

EXPERIENCE
- 10 to 15 years of experience in a senior management position.
- Experience working for a publicly traded company is an asset.
- Experience working in the engineering or manufacturing field is an asset.

SKILLS AND AVAILABILTIES
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
- Good knowledge of French.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Availability to travel, if required.
- LANGUAGES_
- Bilingual (French and English).
