About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons across core subjects, aligned with HSC's mission and values.
  • Foster a classroom environment that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and inclusivity.
  • Integrate technology and hands-on learning to deepen understanding and support diverse learners.
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to support each child's learning journey.
  • Contribute to the broader life of the school from assemblies and co-curriculars to community initiatives that make learning come alive.

Qualifications and Attributes

  • Bachelor of Education and OCT certification (Primary/Junior qualifications preferred).
  • A proven ability to inspire curiosity and confidence in young learners.
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and assessment for learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration within a team-oriented, forward-thinking school community.
