Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team and develop their skills in electrical installation and maintenance within industrial and construction settings. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience working alongside experienced electricians, providing a foundation for a successful career in the electrical trade. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and basic knowledge of electrical systems. This role involves assisting with wiring, troubleshooting, and reading schematics, contributing to various projects that ensure safety and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in industrial and construction environments
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit bending, and other electrical tasks
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution
- Work with low voltage systems as well as standard electrical circuits under supervision
- Support the setup of electrical components according to safety standards and project specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during daily tasks
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with Commercial electrician work is preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts, schematics, and blueprint reading
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of low voltage systems is a plus
- Ability to read technical diagrams accurately
- Strong interest in developing skills within the electrical trade
- Ability to work safely in physically demanding environments including construction sites or industrial facilities
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
