Contract Counselling

Navera Community Connections is seeking an independent contractor to provide counselling services to individuals, couples and families. Flexible scheduling available between 9-20 hours per week located at the Navera office in Saskatoon.

Counselling Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based counselling services to a diverse caseload of clients, including children, youth, and adults.
  • Effectively manage client files and all necessary documentation and statistics.
  • Familiarity with community resources to make appropriate referrals.
  • Commitment toward professional growth in theory and practice.
  • Clinical supervision is available.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in social work, counselling psychology, or related discipline.
  • Certification with an accredited third-party professional association, such as Registered Social Worker (RSW), Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC), etc. is required.
  • A combination of BSW-RSW and relevant clinical experience may be considered. Certification or experience in Play Therapy would be an asset.
  • Experience providing counselling to adults, children, youth, families and caregivers.
  • High standard of ethics and professional integrity.

Details:

  • 9-20 counselling sessions per week.
  • Schedule availability during Navera hours of operation. Ideally available at least 1 evening per week to support client needs.
  • Monday: 9am – 5pm
  • Tuesday: 9am – 9pm
  • Wednesday: 9am – 9pm
  • Thursday: 9am – 9pm
  • Friday 9am – 5pm
