Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide safe, effective acupuncture treatments to promote patient wellness and pain relief. This role requires a strong understanding of traditional Chinese medicine principles, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical environment. Prior hospital experience is a plus, but not mandatory. The Acupuncturist will play a vital role in enhancing patient health outcomes through holistic treatment approaches.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine treatment plans based on individual health needs and conditions.
  • Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each session.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting treatment progress and responses.
  • Educate patients on post-treatment care and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing wellness.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to integrate acupuncture into broader treatment plans when appropriate.
  • Ensure all procedures adhere to clinical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in acupuncture techniques and holistic health practices through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Valid certification or license as an Acupuncturist in accordance with state regulations.
  • Experience working in hospital or clinical settings is preferred, with a strong emphasis on patient care.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to healthcare environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team and maintain professionalism at all times.
