Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care through the practice of acupuncture and other complementary therapies. This role requires a deep understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in a hospital or clinical setting, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine treatment plans based on individual health conditions.
  • Administer acupuncture treatments in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and complementary therapies, including lifestyle and dietary recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments, progress, and any changes in health status.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture techniques and related medical practices.

Experience

  • A valid license to practice acupuncture in the state of employment is required.
  • Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication with patients and healthcare staff.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
