Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with hands-on experience working in dealership or independent repair environments. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using schematics and specialized tools
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures
  • Assist with vehicle assembly and component replacement as needed
  • Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers
  • Conduct heavy lifting of parts and equipment safely to facilitate repairs
  • Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations effectively

Experience

  • Prior dealership or automotive repair shop experience is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in automotive repair techniques and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic software
  • Experience with welding, assembly, and maintenance tasks is a plus
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting procedures
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills
  • Previous mechanic experience demonstrating reliability and technical competence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $22.73-$37.11 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
