We are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenters to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading a team of labourers , providing guidance and direction on all aspects of home building, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard. The Lead Carpenter will also be expected to use their knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials to complete jobs in the most efficient way.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Problem solve issues at hand.
  • Weekly progress reports.
  • Perform day to day tasks in an efficient manner, while leading a crew.
  • Forming, Framing, and Interior finishing.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols.

Pay:

  • Minimum 44 hours per week. Average 52 hours/week. Overtime paid.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 – 55 per week

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • carpentry: 5 years (preferred)

Language:

  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
