Job Summary

We are looking for a Part-Time Assistant Installer to join our team (full-time potential in the future).

The ideal candidate will have some experience in installing and maintaining a variety of products and systems, including flooring and cabinets.

Working closely with and receiving lots of hands on training from a Lead Installer, you would be an integral part of a 2 or 3 person installation team, helping to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in installation processes while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment. Paid from day one, this role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop new skills and contribute to successful project completions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior installers with the setup, assembly, and installation of equipment or systems at client sites
  • Prepare work areas by organizing tools, materials, and equipment needed for each project
  • Follow detailed instructions and safety protocols during all phases of installation
  • Use measurement tools such as tape measures and levels to ensure precise placement of components
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after installations to promote safety and efficiency
  • Support team members in troubleshooting minor technical issues during installation processes

Skills

  • Previous construction experience with cabinets and/or concrete floor coatings is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
  • Good physical stamina; able to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment safely
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-moving environment
  • Willingness to learn new technical skills and safety procedures
