Our mission at Devotion Dance Company is to help guide every individual on their journey to developing confidence and coordination while creating everlasting memories within the studio. Dance is more than just a sport to us; it encompasses discipline, support, determination and creativity which leads to self-assurance. We are devoted to teaching the highest quality of dance through energetic classes, providing plenty of performance opportunities and selecting the most passionate teachers to train our students.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR CLASSES:

  • Acrobatics
  • Stretch/Conditioning
  • Tap
  • Jazz

DUTIES

  • Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels
  • Demonstrate proper dance techniques and ensure students understand foundational movements
  • Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and confidence
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom atmosphere
  • Assist with choreography for performances or recitals as needed
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate attendance records
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to organize events, workshops, or community outreach programs
  • Uphold studio policies and promote a positive, respectful environment for all participants

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Dance Instruction certification or equivalent experience preferred
  • Exemplary verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work with children and manage a classroom
  • Background check will be required if selected

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Physical effort is high
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with all ages
  • Available to work evening and weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week
