Access Ballroom is happy to announce 2 openings for dance instructor jobs in Toronto at our studio. We are looking for FULL-TIME dance instructors to teach at Access Ballroom studio located in Toronto (the beaches area) Imagine working in a supportive and nurturing environment that allows you to make your passion a full-time career. This is a full-time position; we are looking for instructors to teach adults in private and group class settings. Evening and/or weekend hours availability is required. We are looking for dance teachers to grow and develop with a minimum of a two
- to three-year commitment. You’ll be working 30-35 hours per week, appropriate training will be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide dance instruction in Latin and Ballroom dance styles to adults and children
- Teach private lessons and groups lessons
- Motivate, inspire and retain students
- Keep the class energy high, exciting and fun
- Ensure continuous follow-up with the students and their involvement/participation in the studio’s events, classes, workshops, etc.
- Choreograph routines, perform with students and participate in Pro-Am competitions

Desired Work Experience & Skills
- Must LOVE teaching
- Must enjoy social dancing
- 2 years of ANY dance experience (e.g. Ballroom, Latin, hip hop, ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, heels, etc.)
- Professional dance experience required (American Style Ballroom - smooth, rhythm - is an asset)
- Quick learner
- Patient and empathetic, warm and caring personality
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, sense of tact and diplomacy
- Dance competitions experience is an asset
- Physically fit
- Fluent in English is a must
- Sales and customer service experience is an asset
- Having a good understanding of health and safety
- Having dedication and passion for dancing

Training and Salary
- Dance syllabus training will be provided in a fast-paced learning environment
- Hourly wage will be determined by the dance level and training level achieved (range $15.00 to $54.00/hour). May be eligible for additional commission.
- FULL-TIME only
