DHI is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate various machinery — including front-end loaders and backhoes — for snow plowing and removal operations. This position includes monthly standby pay during the winter season.

Responsibilities

  • Operate front-end loaders, backhoes, and other heavy equipment for snow plowing and removal
  • Follow all company and safety protocols while operating equipment
  • Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance to ensure equipment is in proper working condition
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals
  • Adhere to project schedules and deadlines

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating front-end loaders and backhoes
  • Must be available 24/7 during the winter season and able to work long hours during snow events
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of heavy equipment operations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or site plans
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Clean Criminal record

Pay: $34.00-$35.00 per hour
