Job Description:We are currently seeking several Journeymen Heavy Equipment Mechanic and Registered 4th year Apprentices to join our team in Vaughan, ON. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a wide range of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and more.Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issuesConduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevityKeep detailed records of all maintenance and repairsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesCollaborate with the team to meet deadlines and objectivesParticipate in ongoing training and development to stay up -to -date with industry advancementsRequirements:421A certified or equivalent Red Seal Journeymen Heavy Equipment Certification.Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance and repair of Construction or Mining equipment.Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical, and hydraulic systems, undercarriage repairs and engine diagnosis and repairs.Strong problem -solving skills and attention to detailKnowledge of safety protocols and regulationsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work independently and efficientlyWillingness to work overtime when requiredValid driver's license Compensation: Wage Rage $40 - $44 an hour including a comprehensive Benefit package. Days, 5x8 Monday - Friday or 4x10 Monday - Thursday.
