Position Summary

We're looking for a caring and motivated Staff Pharmacist to join our team in North Burnaby. In this role, you'll be at the heart of what we do — helping patients manage their health safely and effectively. You'll work closely with our team and local healthcare providers to ensure our community receives the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense prescriptions while maintaining full regulatory compliance.
  • Provide professional advice on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions.
  • Manage and review patient medication profiles to ensure accuracy and safety.
  • Administer vaccines, including flu shots and publicly funded immunizations.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Educate patients on medication adherence, lifestyle changes, and overall health management.
  • Keep detailed and accurate pharmacy records.
  • Stay informed on new pharmaceutical practices, guidelines, and regulatory changes.

What We're Looking For

  • A valid and good standing pharmacist license in the province of BC
  • Minimum 1 year experience in community or hospital pharmacy.
  • The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required
  • Must be O.A.T and Injection certified.
  • Must be available Fri-Sat-Sun or Sat-Sun- Mon
  • Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably WinRx.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmacology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine care for patients and venerable sector.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and promoting a diverse, inclusive workplace.
