What's the Job?:
Initiate, develop and maintain strong business relationships with dealer principals and business managers within your territory
- Effectively and professionally present the benefits and opportunities of the iA Auto Finance dealer programs to existing and new dealers
- Exceed the overall market goals and dealer performance objectives by developing and executing effective sales strategies
- Provide the best financing solutions and effectively communicate between our credit, income, and funding departments and dealership personnel.
- Develop and implement successful business plans to align with corporate goals
- Deliver exceptional customer service to our dealer partners
Experience and Education:
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience in auto finance required, preferably in sales, and in the non–prime market
- 1 to 2 years of credit underwriting experience preferred or ability to read a credit bureau
- Extensive knowledge of the greater Calgary market and dealer base
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain solid business relationships with all levels of key dealer personnel, with a primary focus on key decision makers
- High level of accountability and ability to effectively prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Well-developed presentation, relationship building and sales skills
- Solid understanding of F&I department functions
- Ability to work independently and across functional teams
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Dealership operations and product knowledge
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
