CNC Operator

Copernicus is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our Production team. In this role, you'll work with advanced CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision parts for our new Made-in-Canada product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC as well as other related manufacturing machines to meet production specifications.
  • Write and load programs and execute operations based on technical drawings.
  • Perform tool changes, set offsets, and verify machine calibration.
  • Collaborate with the Design and Production teams to optimize machining processes.
  • Load raw materials and monitor the machining process for consistency and quality.
  • Interpret technical drawings and work orders accurately.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Conduct routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
  • Make real-time adjustments during production as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in accordance with company policies.
  • Communicate any mechanical or production issues to supervisors promptly.
  • Support team members and assist other departments as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
