Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and mechanical knowledge, with proficiency in operating various CNC machines, including CNC lathes and milling machines. This role is crucial for ensuring precision and efficiency in our production processes while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for machining processes using Fagor controls.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to create accurate machining specifications.
  • Utilize CAD software, such as Mastercam, to design and modify parts as needed.
  • Conduct setup and operation of CNC lathe and milling machines to produce high-quality components.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments like calipers for quality assurance checks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in CNC programming with a strong understanding of machining processes.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with CAD software, particularly Mastercam, is preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
  • Experience operating CNC lathe and milling machines is essential.
