Your days will include:

  • Organizing employee workload and delegating tasks
  • Training new employees
  • Meeting production targets
  • Monitoring proper animal handling
  • Ensuring work and safety guidelines are met
  • Performing minor maintenance tasks
  • Supporting Barn Manager and managing barn when manager is away
  • Other duties as assigned

To succeed in this role, you possess:

  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License and reliable means of transportation
  • Self-motivated
  • Well organized and reliable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good work ethic
  • A team player
  • Minimum 2-years swine tech experience an asset
