Job Summary
We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, restaurant experience preferred, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the overall success of the restaurant. A background in food preparation, cooking, POS systems, and team management is preferred. Salary is based on an individual's experience
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including interviewing, training, and evaluating team members to foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient food preparation, cooking, and serving processes.
- Manage customer service interactions to ensure guest satisfaction and handle any complaints or concerns professionally.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Micros POS or similar systems; perform cash handling duties as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Implement and uphold restaurant policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Assist in hiring new staff members and conducting performance reviews.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
Experience is an asset but will train.
- Supervising experience within the food industry, preferably in restaurant management or hospitality settings.
- Restaurant experience including food preparation, cooking, food handling, and food safety standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
- Background in team management, leadership, and customer service excellence.
- Experience with interviewing potential staff members and conducting performance evaluations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
