Job Title: Business Development Manager - Winnipeg   WINMAR Winnipeg Property Restoration Specialist   WINMAR Restoration Winnipeg has two cohesive, cross-functioning business units: Insurance Companies. We have relationships with the insurance companies and their adjustors who send us customers after a claim for restoration work B2C. Our clients are the homeowners for rebuilds (after completing the restoration work) and renovations at any time B2B. Our clients are businesses that include property management, franchise chains, hospitals, senior living, schools, airports, government, reserves, etc. These entities all have PVL (preferred vendor list) and can provide ongoing, frequent work for as-needed restoration (through their insurance company) and any renovation work at any time.   This position is exclusively focused on securing new B2B clients (including getting on more PVL's)   Position Overview As a Business Development Manager at WINMAR Winnipeg, you are responsible for finding, securing and driving new B2B relationships, obtaining new PVL's and new revenue.   This role requires a confident, go-getter mindset, excellent communication skills, an in-depth understanding of WINMAR services, and a commitment to achieving performance targets.  Responsibilities Business Development:
•      Research to identify potential new clients, strategic partners, and competitive trends.
•      Proactively target qualified markets & people, build relationships, and pursue new opportunities for projects &/or a service agreement.
•      Maintain deep client relationships (during and after any job), ensuring satisfaction and retention and driving more and future projects.
•      Participate in RFP processes, develop proposals, and manage bids to acquire new clients.
•      Follow up, manage & track all B2B leads generated from marketing campaigns, converting them into sales opportunities.
•      Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and Centers of Influence to create new opportunities.  Networking & Community Engagement:
•      Be the "face" of the renovation business unit, collaborating with corporate marketing regarding the website, LinkedIn presence, Google Ads and SEO tactics, eMarketing, events and shows, etc.
•      Attend and represent WINMAR at industry trade shows, webinars, community events (e.g., IBAM, SIP, BOMA, PPMA, BBB, SLA), golf tournaments, dinners, and sporting events to foster relationships with potential and existing clients.
•      Schedule visits to national and regional accounts, maintaining fresh contact information and nurturing existing partnerships.
•      Organize and host meetings, luncheons, seminars, and training sessions for clients and partners.  Customer Service Excellence:
•      Respond to emails and inquiries promptly and professionally.
•      Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by offering excellent customer service and addressing any concerns.
•      Monitor job quality and take proactive steps to safeguard client property and information.  Administrative Duties:
•      Maintain a monthly business development budget for events and promotional activities.
•      Order and manage promotional materials such as brochures, business cards, and branded merchandise.
•      Utilize CRM to manage all prospects, customers, contacts, opportunities and activities.
•      Manage new partner contracts for the corporate head office and monitor agreement compliance.  Qualifications
• years' experience in relationship-oriented, new business development, working both from in-office and in the field/community.
•      The character and canvas to work hard, learn, and grow while being open to coaching.
•      An accountable, performance-based approach to work.
•      Familiarity or interest in construction, restoration, or insurance sectors is an asset.
•      Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
•      Strong sales acumen with proven skills in negotiation, relationship management, and strategic planning.
•      Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; experience with digital marketing tools preferred.
•      Willing to travel and work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and on-call availability.
•      Relevant post-secondary degrees are strongly considered and preferred.  Physical Demands
•      Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted, with occasional assistance for heavier lifting.
•      Comfortable working in various environments, requiring standing, sitting, bending, and kneeling periods.
