Position Overview

As a member of the Canadian Residential Sales Team, the RSM, Residential Sales will lead AOS Canada's residential regional sales organization across wholesale distribution, (and rental channels). The RSM will have margin responsibility for their respective region and will drive the shift to a market-led strategy, ensuring residential sales performance aligns with corporate growth, profitability, and customer experience goals.

The RSM will be apart of a high-performance sales organization, providing advancing solution-selling capabilities, and ensuring execution excellence with key accounts, distributors, and partners.

Strategic Sales Leadership Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Lead the regional residential sales strategy, driving profitable growth across wholesale,( and rental channels.)
  • Translate corporate strategy into regional execution plans, with KPIs for revenue, margin, and market share.
  • Align execution with corporate priorities, including IBP-driven demand planning and risk/opportunity management.
  • Champion a solution-selling approach that positions AOS as a trusted advisor to customers and influencers.
  • Collaborate with marketing on go-to-market programs and brand positioning to ensure alignment with channel execution.
Other Key Responsibilities

Team & Organizational Development

  • Build and sustain a high-performance sales culture with rep agencies, setting clear expectations for accountability, customer focus, and results.
  • Invest in training and coaching, with emphasis on solution-based selling, negotiation excellence, and portfolio management.
  • Foster strong collaboration between field sales, national accounts, and channel support teams.

Customer, Channel & Influencer Engagement

  • Manage relationships with wholesale distributors, (and rental partners), ensuring SLAs are consistently met.
  • Drive pull-through engagement with contractors, builders, property managers, and installers to build loyalty and influence purchasing decisions.
  • Oversee and manage third-party sales agencies to deliver consistent brand representation and sales performance.

Sales Operations & Execution

  • Lead and input into regional sales forecasting and sales opportunity funnel management to ensure accurate planning and conversion.
  • Monitor and improve close ratios, profitability, and service levels.
  • Ensure adoption of CRM and sales enablement tools to improve data visibility and decision-making.
  • Track and report performance, identifying risks and opportunities in real time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales leadership, preferably in building products, HVAC, or retail/distribution channels.
  • Proven success with solution selling, retail/distribution account management, and pull-through strategies.
  • Strong track record of P&L ownership, profitability improvement, and market share growth.
  • Bilingual (English/French) required.
We Offer

Salary Range: $102,000K to 127,500K
