Port-O-Call Inn & Suites is looking for a reliable and organized Casual Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. We're seeking someone who is friendly, efficient, and comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. This is a casual position, meaning shifts are offered on an as-needed basis and weekly hours are not guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests, complete check-ins and check-outs, and manage reservations.
  • Keep accurate records of room availability, bookings, and assignments.
  • Share information about the hotel and recommend local attractions, services, and amenities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room categories, rates, and layout.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and support daily front desk operations.
  • Assist other departments when required, including during urgent or emergency situations.
  • Provide prompt and courteous responses to guest and staff inquiries.
  • Handle guest requests professionally to ensure a positive stay experience.
  • Balance cash, guest folios, and third-party transactions.
  • Maintain confidentiality, guest security, and privacy at all times.
  • Present a professional appearance and maintain a courteous attitude.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Preference will be given to applicants with hospitality experience or related education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, when shifts become available.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
