We are seeking an Intermediate Business Intelligence Analyst for a 1-year contract opportunity in Edmonton, Alberta.

Must haves:


• 4 years – Experience with articulating and translating technical language for non-technical customers both verbally and in writing.


• 4 years – Experience with data concepts such as: Extract Transform Load (ETL), Operational Data Store (ODS), Online Transaction Processing (OLTP), etc.


• 4 years – Experience with presenting data in queries, dashboards, and reports in a way that is easy to understand.


• 4 years – Direct hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing advanced Power BI solutions that transform regulated and complex datasets into actionable insights for policy, operations and executive reporting.


• 4 years – Experience in creating and implementing business intelligence requirements.


• 4 years – Experience with dimensional modeling techniques.


• 4 years – Experience working in a data warehouse/business intelligence or relevant data environment in either a development or support role.
