We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server WHO IS ABLE TO WORK WEEKDAYS MORNING to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while efficiently managing orders and ensuring satisfaction.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food handling and safety standards.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for guest checks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service areas, and utensils in accordance with health regulations.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns or special requests.
  • Demonstrate time management skills by efficiently managing multiple tables during peak hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong background in food service and hospitality.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and guest check processing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
