Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, welcoming guests, serving food and cleaning tables, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Welcome guests, seat them, explain menu, serving food, cleaning plates and tables.
  • Perform opening and closing front of the house duties as required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
  • Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.

Experience

  • Previous Serving/bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and drink preparation calculations.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards in the food industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
