VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking to hire a full-time Commercial Glazing Project Manager to join our Commercial Glazing Division. In this role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial glazing projects, including entrances, storefronts, curtain wall, and specialty glass systems. You will work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal team members to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with VDK's high-quality standards.

What You'll Do

  • Manage multiple commercial glazing projects from award to completion, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, and budget
  • Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, contracts, and specifications to ensure full understanding of project requirements
  • Coordinate internally with drafting, fabrication, and installation teams to plan project workflow, scheduling, and material needs
  • Communicate proactively with general contractors, architects, suppliers, and site supervisors to maintain project clarity and resolve issues
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation
  • Conduct site visits to monitor installation progress, verify measurements, and ensure compliance with design and safety standards
  • Oversee procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery to meet project timelines
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing challenges with effective problem-solving and collaboration
  • Ensure all installations meet VDK Group's quality expectations, industry standards, and contractual obligations
  • Support continuous improvement by contributing to project reviews and process enhancements
  • Represent VDK Group professionally at all times, maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in project management within commercial glazing, curtain wall, or a related construction industry
  • Strong understanding of glazing systems, aluminum fabrication, and commercial construction practices
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project documentation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Problem-solving mindset with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proficiency with project management tools, MS Office, and construction-related software
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required
