ABOUT US
Since 1978 Air Inuit has been providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of over 35 aircraft ranging from a Twin Otter 300 Series to a Boeing C, 300 and 800 and employs over 1000 employees in one of the most challenging flight environments.

ROLE OVERVIEW
At Air Inuit, every flight begins and ends with the precision of ground operations. As Coordinator for class 1 & 2 stations, you'll be the key link between maintenance crews, flight teams, and station operations—ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and on schedule. You'll lead with purpose, organize with clarity, and supervise with care, making sure aircraft, equipment, and teams are ready for takeoff and turnaround. Your leadership keeps our stations efficient, our crews supported, and our standards high.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- In collaboration with the Station Manager lead the charge in coordinating all ground operations across Class 1 & 2 stations, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient workflows.
- Support talent acquisition by assisting in the recruitment of station staff who embody Air Inuit's values.
- Organize shifts for field supervisors and station teams based on operational priorities.
- Stay connected with field supervisors and team leads through daily check-ins to keep operations aligned and responsive.
- Partner with Training to plan and schedule mandatory sessions, keeping teams sharp and certified.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, employees, and internal departments.
- Play a key role in advancing continuous improvement through active involvement in the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Step in where needed, taking on additional tasks that support the success of the network.
WHAT MAKES YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the aviation industry.
- Proven leadership and problem-solving skills are a strong asset.
- Strong written and verbal skills in at least two of the following—Inuktitut, French, English.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Deep understanding of Nunavik and Air Inuit's operational footprint.
- Strong ability to navigate and embrace cultural differences.
- Excellent time management and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Resourceful and proactive in addressing challenges and shifting priorities.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize tasks.
COMPENSATION

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Permanent role, offering stability and growth.
- Schedule: Enjoy a Monday to Friday workweek, totaling 37.5 hours (7.5 hours per day).
- Office Presence: Required to be in the office for four days a week, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
