AME Apprentice

We invite interested applicants to apply for a permanent Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Apprentice position . The position is available immediately.

The AME Apprentice performs assigned duties under supervision, using aircraft and component technical manuals and following company procedure manuals to develop skills through on-the-job work experience. The incumbent must adhere to all safety rules and have a general knowledge of CARs as they relate to maintenance performance.

Qualifications: Must have a diploma from a Ministry of Transportation approved/accredited Aircraft Maintenance Program.

The ability to interpret and comprehend a variety of aircraft technical manuals and maintenance records.

Ability to meet deadlines.

Must possess an adequate tool kit.

(Specific Duties include, but are not limited to the following)

Under the supervision of the Crew Chief/ACA:

Perform maintenance repairs on all company aircraft in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.

Record and sign for all work performed in the technical records.

Assist with hangar maintenance and cleanup.

Move aircraft into and out of the hangar as required.

Perform inspections with the Engineers and document discrepancies.

Complete requisition slips as required.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive team-oriented attitude.
  • Dependability and reliability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.10-$34.10 per hour
