EVAS has a long history of providing air cargo and courier flights, air ambulance services and passenger flights through charter and capacity agreements. Our business has been growing in the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) sector as well as modifications and paint services. EVAS has developed its own customized modifications to the Beechcraft 1900D to specifically support cargo and air ambulance customers.

The MEDI-MAXX is EVAS' medical transport solution capable of carrying a 700lb patient with minimal to no lifting required. The aircraft includes custom modifications to the lighting, intercom, forward lavatory, single or dual Lifeport PLUS system, rear partition with access door and the powered lift and slide system.

The CARGO MAXIMIZER is a cargo freighter customization which installs a new structural emergency exit complete with an EVAS manufactured exit door. The cabin of the aircraft is fitted with enhanced lighting, a series of cargo barrier restraining nets, improved floorboards, roller ball loading system and damaged resistant interior panels.

EVAS Air Ltd. is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (S) for its Gander, NL base.

The AME Structures is directly responsible to the Crew Chief and must possess a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Category S license. The AME exercises the privileges of the ACA, including providing technical job direction. In addition, the AME must possess any additional authorization as required for the maintenance operation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Perform structural modifications on company and customer aircraft.

· Perform structural repairs and inspections.

· Perform all work in accordance with company manuals.

· Coordinate with Logistics & Planning to ensure parts, tools and equipment are available for upcoming maintenance events and projects.

· Complete required computer entries and system functions.

· Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards

· Identify and report any issues that could jeopardize production or airworthiness in a timely manner.

· Ensure compliance with airworthiness and safety policies, processes and standards .

· Ensure a safe and tidy workplace.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Possession of a valid AME Category S license.

· Experience on the Beechcraft aircraft is considered an asset.

· Occasional travel may be required to support maintenance activities.

· Proven ability to liaise with other company personnel and external agencies.

· Strong understanding of Aircraft Maintenance Programs.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Ability to obtain RAIC and AVOP
