The Role

Reporting to the Director, Marketing (or the delegate), the Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the Marketing team in achieving the Company's short and long-term marketing goals through development of the strategies and plans and execution of various national and regional marketing campaigns and projects.

The position is responsible to plan for using applicable marketing channels in accomplishing all required marketing deliverables. As well as to assist for planning and implement all marketing initiations which include, but not limited to, local to nationwide marketing campaign, sales promotion, branding and communication, consumer experience, and recruitment, for the organization.

Major Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director, Marketing (or the delegate) to develop annual/seasonal marketing strategies
  • Liaise with different departments on various marketing requests
  • Evaluate the requests, propose most effective marketing campaigns to optimize results
  • Develop and manage project schedule, and ensure projects are being delivered in a timely manner
  • Manage the marketing team to ensure high quality design outputs
  • Lead to develop creative ideas based on business requirements
  • Develop branding strategy to improve brand awareness
  • Plan and manage department budget
  • Manage the development of the marketing team, conduct performance appraisal, and mentor junior team members

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Creative/Design or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in which 5 are in management capacity
  • Previous experience working in advertisement agency is highly desired
  • Strong capability in manage key stockholders within an organization
  • Strong leadership and people management capability
  • Posses good project management skill
  • Previous experience in leading creative development
  • Previous experience working in advertisement agency is highly regarded
  • Experience in lead and drive creative development is preferred
  • Strong understanding of both local and Asian culture
  • Good command in written and spoken English
  • Able to read and write Chinese is an asset
