As we continue to grow, we are looking for motivated outside sales professionals to help us expand our presence in the local building and renovation market.
Position Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team on a commission-only basis. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and building a client base, focusing on builders, contractors, renovators, property managers, and related businesses.

To support your success, Golden City Supply will cover gas and any other work expenses while you develop and maintain your client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and build your own client base across builders, contractors, renovators, property managers, and related businesses
- Maintain and grow strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat sales
- Present and promote Golden City Supply's products, including cabinets, flooring, countertops, doors, and other materials
- Provide product presentations in our Calgary showroom, on telephone and on site as needed
- Negotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines
- Track sales activity and maintain accurate records of clients and opportunities
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Proven sales experience, preferably in building materials, construction, home improvement, or related industries
- Ability to generate and develop your own client base through prospecting, networking, and cold outreach
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to build trust with clients quickly
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for visiting clients and job sites
- Speaking Mandarin or Cantonese is considered a very strong asset
- Post-secondary degree, Diploma, or sales related experiences are an asset
Compensation
- Commission-only structure – unlimited earning potential based on performance
- Generous commission rates with no cap
- Gas expenses covered for sales-related travel
- Sales support and access to showroom materials provided
- Flexible schedule with independence to manage your own time
