Part Time Sales Assistant Position

Victoria BC VV K, Canada Heart and Sole Shoes Full time $18,000 - $40,000 per year

Applicants must be available to work Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays from 10AM to 5PM and Sundays from 11AM to 4PM.

Duties

  • Assist customers in finding and trying on footwear catering to their needs

  • Help create and maintain a clean working environment

  • Start and see through self-directed projects to better aid in efficiency, store image, and safety of the workplace

  • Safely climb ladders, be standing and moving for long periods of time, and climb up and down stairs to retrieve shoes.

  • Put new shipments into inventory and moving shipments into the stockroom in accordance to the organization system.

  • Maintain a wide knowledge on the brands we carry and inform customers on relevant product knowledge.

  • Process and handle transactions.

  • Let customers know about exchange and credit policies with their purchases.

Requirements

  • Able to work 2 to 3 weekdays, and must be available to work Saturdays or Sundays

  • 1+ years of retail customer service is an asset, but not a requirement

  • Strong English language proficiency

  • High School diploma or equivalent
