About The Opportunity
Our client, who is located downtown Ottawa, is looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to support their finance team for a three-month contract with a possibility of extension. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate invoice processing, and maintaining organized financial records.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
  • Ensuring accurate coding, vendor payment information, and overall data integrity for payables submissions
  • Reviewing and processing employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies, and facilitating timely reimbursements upon receipt of properly completed submissions
  • Maintaining organized records and documentation for all AP transactions, including invoices, approvals, payment receipts, and vendor communications for audit and compliance purposes
  • Assisting in the preparation of accounts payable reports, including aging reports and other reports as required

About You
The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

About the Job
This is a three-month contract with the possibility of extension. The role is fully onsite and located in downtown Ottawa.
