Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assembly Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling components and products with precision, ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and familiarity with warehouse or manufacturing environments. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic production setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products and components according to detailed specifications and work instructions
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment to complete tasks efficiently
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed (training provided)
  • Conduct quality checks during assembly to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Follow safety procedures and report any safety concerns immediately

Skills

  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings or schematics
  • Experience with assembly processes in manufacturing or warehouse settings
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
  • Familiarity with forklift operation (preferred) but not required, training available
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory

This position is integral to our production process, requiring reliable individuals who are eager to contribute their skills in a manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80 per week
