**Job Title: Electronic Assembler****Job Description**As an Electronic Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling electronic components, including complex and high-density projects, while adhering to assembly books, custom specifications, and quality standards. You will perform hand soldering and rework on thru-hole, SMT, mixed, and mechanical assemblies per engineering specs and IPC standards. This role involves preparing, placing, and installing components accurately, operating and maintaining various assembly and testing equipment, and setting up, calibrating, and maintaining test stations. You will also test product functionality using tools like multimeters and PC-based programming, finalize assembly, and prepare products for packing and shipping.**Work Environment**The work environment is a large, organized, clean, and quiet facility with multiple departments on the production floor. Employees may occasionally encounter dust, solder, metals, high noise levels, or physical hazards from moving equipment. The culture promotes a positive team attitude with cross-training opportunities available to support skill development. The facility fosters an inclusive workplace with a strong mix of women and men across teams. The team consists of 50 members. The dress code includes wearing a smock, shoe covers, ear plugs, goggles, and closed-toe shoes. The shift is Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime available when busy.**Responsibilities**Assemble electronic components following assembly books and custom specifications.Perform hand soldering and rework on thru-hole, SMT, mixed, and mechanical assemblies.Prepare, place, and install components accurately.Operate and maintain various assembly and testing equipment.Set up, calibrate, and maintain test stations; complete test logs and report yields.Test product functionality using tools like multimeters and PC-based programming.Finalize assembly and prepare products for packing and shipping.Participate in training and certification programs.Support team-level quality initiatives, including root cause analysis.Communicate effectively with team members to resolve and prevent issues.**Essential Skills**6 months to 1 year of experience with assembling PCBA components.6 months of production experience within the past 1-2 years.Proficient with hand tools such as laser CNC and press fit.Rework mechanical/electrical assemblies by replacing components.Good English communication skills with the ability to read and understand assembly documentation.Good computer skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.Able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a non-repetitive basis.Able to distinguish different colors accurately.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**Familiarity with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) is a plus.Flexibility and willingness to learn.Good in a team environment, maintaining a positive attitude.**Why Work Here?**This role offers the potential for a contract extension in a clean environment with friendly coworkers.
